Description

At a depth of around 6 meters, the wreck of an old wooden boat lies at the bottom of Zakrzówek quarry in Kraków, Poland. The boat appears to be a traditional dugout canoe, possibly carved from a single tree trunk. Over time, it has become part of the underwater landscape, resting on the rocky bottom surrounded by submerged boulders.
Characteristic features:
-Long, narrow shape -Reinforcements in the form of internal bulkheads -Simple, yet solid construction
